“Photography” is an immense field and means different things to different people. It has been described as the most scientific of the arts, and the most artistic of the sciences; our aim is to apply the appropriate mix of science and art to meet your personal needs.
Photography means “writing with light” but this simplification is like saying literature is “writing with words”. The extent of photography’s social reach and cultural impact since the mid 1800’s has been immense. Photographs can inform, provide understanding, influence, provoke, evoke memories, and entertain.
The ultimate purpose of photographs is to communicate. This might be to provide a permanent memento of a person, place, object or occasion for ourselves, or to communicate to others. We, as sensitive and experienced photographers, know the challenges and can help you.
